Joe,

Try "The Armory" in Chesapeake, VA. I purchased a P30 9mm LEM in July 2010 for $809 + tax. Give them a shout if you haven't had any luck yet.

Todd,

Following up on a couple of old questions...

Did you ever recieve the replacement Heinie Sights?

Any closer to taking orders on Pistol-Training P30L? Want to get three, nice weapons for my daughters to learn to shot with.

Thanks again for hard work.

Todd, I've been keeping up with the progress of the P30 since the first week. I live in Lufkin, TX and it's great to hear that you will be 15 min from my house when you attend Paul's course. I looked into taking it but won't have enough time to fill the class requirements. Hope you enjoy it and your time in East Texas.

Todd, would you recommend this over the G4 G22? Also, why the LEM over DA/SA? Could you please compare the trigger to the Glock as well as other things for Glock shooters who may make the transition to the P30S.

Ogre -- Absolutely. The trigger pull has dropped by about 3/4 of a pound and is about as smooth as any gunsmith could get it. This gun is as broken in as it can get.

joe -- Only advice I can offer is keep looking. The last shipment sold out immediately. HK has more on order from the Fatherland.

Chuck -- Right now, the P30 is definitely my favorite. I'm extremely comfortable with the gun and its capabilities. There are guns I can shoot faster, but the overall package of the P30 works best for me. I've got no problem with DA/SA guns, but the LEM gives me most of the advantages of a DA/SA without some of the drawbacks.

Todd,

A couple of questions if you don't mind. After all the testing, is the HK P30 your favorite carry gun?
If not, what is your preferred carry gun?
Also, and this kind of goes with the questions above, do you prefer handguns with one type of trigger pull or do you prefer DA/SA?
Thanks and great website here!
