AaronC -- For simple field stripping, I lube the four rail contact points on the frame and the lockup points between the slide and barrel.

Todd- What are the lube points on the P30? Does it say in the manual? I've tried to find pics of the underside of the slide and fire control group in the frame, but no success.

Also, as far as a maintenance schedule goes (in round count), how does the P30 compare to a Glock? As durable?

David -- I don't have any records from my Beretta (or pre-Beretta) days on hand. I would estimate that I shot approximately the same amount during my years at Beretta as I did at SIG. So in the past ten years, that adds up to just about 500,000 rounds.

i'd be curious to see an estimate of the total rounds todd has fired so far during his lifetime. the only thing stopping me from asking is the fear that he probably has an actual log of an exact count for it including the date, hour: minute: second each round was fired including weather conditions along with lunar phase.

Over 8,000 rounds since the last cleaning?! Wow! What a testament to the gun! I keep bouncing back to your site for new training tips but haven't really followed too closely with the P30 but just read this post. Amazing, truly amazing!

I live in Alexandria VA so hopefully I can meet up with you guys sometime. I just got an M&P9 and absolutely love it! A Raven Phantom holster is on the way too.

I love the site and plan on getting one of those challenge coins someday. You guys watch out! Haha! Keep it up!
