S Vega -- Personally, I would stick with the 9mm. Higher capacity, less expensive ammo, less recoil. Those are useful features whether it's for home defense or competition. Sorry, no video of the new F.A.S.T. record, it was just a great (and lucky!) run during a normal practice session.

Rick -- I've never had that problem. Perhaps the belt loop on yours is a little too big? You can either try to fix it yourself or send it back to CCC. In my experience, they're really outstanding about things like that.

This is somewhat off topic but since you mentioned the items.....

Based on your recommendations, I picked up a Looper and the basic mag carrier for my full-sized M&P 9mm. I like Looper quite well in the limited time that I've had it. And the mag carrier has good tension yet releases well. My question is how do you keep the mag carrier from changing position on your belt. I use a Wilderness belt and the carrier tends to shift around some.

Thanks.

Please update us in six months about the appendix carry. I'd like to see a few pictures and try to get a idea of how far down the barrel goes. I can't quite figure out how that would be comfortable while sitting.

Thanks, Steve. What will happen at 50,000? Check back next week ... hopefully we'll know exactly what happens next by then!

I really look forward to going here first on my Monday night shooting forum excursion. I have never seen a better reported and documented long term test of anything. Thanks, and are there any plans to just keep going after 50,000? Be great to see just how far it can go.
