Outstanding. Even with me putting a mere 200 rounds through an M&P every weekend(all I can afford!), It would take me just over four years to hit 40k.

Carter C. — I don’t remember off the top of my head, but I think they recommend replacing it every 10,000 rounds. In my experience, 10k is a good point at which to replace springs & pins in a gun, and since this part includes a spring it’s a good idea regardless. Just my advice.

Truth be told, I had to retrieve my M&P 40 and take a look at the right side slide catch; guess I never paid attention to it!

Every Monday I look forward to the week of torture review; it reinforces my decision to own the M&P.
