Walther PK380 Recall
5-Oct-12 – 08:56 by ToddGCarl Walther GmbH has issued a recall of PK380 pistols produced from May through September 2012, serial numbers PK101201 through PK112155. Walther has found that engagement of the manual safety may not prevent firing of a chambered round when the trigger is pulled.
If you have a pistol covered by the recall, U.S. owners are advised to contact Waltheramerica at 1-800-713-0356. A pre-paid shipping label will be sent to you in 2-3 weeks for return of the pistol.
In the meantime, Walther recommends you safely unload the pistol and do not handle or attempt to fire it.
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG

Well that’s not good. It’s not good publicity either when recalls are the only press releases your company manages to distribute widely.
Walther really needs a functioning marketing department. It’s a shame to say it’s even necessary, but they do.

This is my shocked face.
Hanging the Walther name on Umarex product is stinking up the place in Ulm.
