Gun Control, Now with More Iron(y)

The irony of using a full motion video distributed on the internet to promote the idea that technology has changed beyond what the Founding Fathers intended thus requiring a reexamination of Constitutional gun rights is just awesome.

  2. He should at least be carrying two muskets and two pistols. Isn’t that the standard back then 😛

  3. The real “standard back then” is that he wouldn’t remotely be the only armed person in the room.

  4. No bayonet charge? You’re doing it wrong…

  5. That’s always been my argument. People always say that we didn’t have all the hi cap guns 200+ yrs ago & that the 2nd A is no longer relevant or what was intended. Well, we didn’t have automated printing presses, phones, computers, FB, Twitter, Instagram, or anything that requires a plug & outlet. So is the 1st A also irrelevant or not what was intended? The reply is usually a blank stare & silence.

  6. Yes, it’s true. Guns have changed. So, have the laws. I don’t think Johnny Reb or Abe Lincoln had to fill out an instant check form & pay $10 to purchase a firearm. What exactly are they wanting to get out of this ad? It’s vagueness & stupidity merge together to form a quite impressive piece of crap.

  7. DJMoore and Wes got it right. It is the laws that have changed, disarming the innocent.

  8. I mean, they act like not a single law has been enacted since 1776. When in reality, short of confiscating ALL guns, they couldn’t be more controlled.

  9. why did they make the idiot use a flintlock instead of a rock? Everything changes and murder is still the same! I don’t care where you are or what time you live(d). If someone wants to kill someone they can use a club, spear, bow and arrow, sword, knife, gun, car, and need I go on? This is totally ridiculous!!!!! It is a response by the gun control groups to make people think the Constitution needs to be changed! I’m sorry to say that some people will look at this and say “Oh they have a point!”.

  10. maybe it’s about time to make our own ad about a guy seeing a gun ban bill pass, then killing a bunch of people with a rock

By kyle on Apr 21, 2013

  11. Or better yet, lets make a video of several guys coming in with knives killing people and one guy pulls out a flintlock and kills one, then the other guys kill him…
the ending would say…”mobs killing people hasn’t changed but the way people protect themselves has”

  12. If I had the funds, I’d make a PSA of a man using a hand cranked printing press to print something seditious or libelous “Media has changed. Shouldn’t our laws regarding media change?”
