The loss of integrity is directly related to the loss of personal responsibility in society as a whole.

Those who has studied or knows about Lean/Six Sigma can tell you there is a way to increase the efficiency of a process and improve the quality control of a product line. After all, that is what Toyota did and they not only cut the costs of their processes compared to their competitors, but have earned quite a reputation for reliability. That does not give free reign to cut corners to cut short end costs in lieu of quality assurance especially for a potentially life-saving piece of equipment.

What also bugs me about the gun industry, is major companies putting out major product lines without actually consulting those who shoot and/or train for a living. there has been many, many examples of the latest and greatest gun, simply ignored by the movers and shakers of the tactical community because the gun was an unmitigated POS.

It is not too late for them to correct the problem. When you are backed up by thousands of orders I guess you don't have to care.

I owned a Beretta 9000S briefly, before converting to Glocks. It was, in fact, one of the main reasons I switched. I bought it because it looked cool, was concealable and would take Beretta 92 magazines. Unfortunately it was unreliable and not particularly comfortable to shoot. Sold it, bought a G26, and never looked back.

I don't agree with all the guys who say that the blackhawk holsters are unsafe. The german army issues these holsters and I've never heared of any problems with it.
I know exactly what you think: 'who is the german army, nobody cares about them, they got no combat experience and most of them are morons!'
I tell you what, you're maybe right, BUT: how comes it that such a bunch of rookies are able to oparate the serpa holster without shooting themself in the leg?
it works because its simple and doesent require much practice.
I think its all about triggerfinger discipline and I used a chest mounted serpa myself and I was happy with it.

so don't panic, serpas are not that bad.

cheers
