Totally pissed, click the link, 0 of 5 claimed, Safari totally fucks up as I’m ordering a $1 Gadget. Had to close and order on my phone, 3 of 5, click for payment, gone.
Guys, I apologize if the system didn’t give you the $1 perk. We apparently overwhelmed the software and a lot of people were told they were #1, etc. We cannot control the Indiegogo software.
Very sorry if you were trying to be callers #1-5.
For what it’s worth, the system was SO overwhelmed that it gave out 10 (not 5) of those $1 perks before it caught up with itself and said that particular option is sold out.
mongooseman — Not really. If you’re wrestling over a gun, odds are it’s moving around too much for either party to get the necessary amount and direction of force on the Gadget for any substantial length of time.
The Gadget doesn’t have any kind of “lock” position so if your thumb isn’t pressing into it, the gun is free to fire.
Hey Todd, which generations of Glocks does the gadget fit? The Indiegogo page doesn’t mention that. Unless the backplates for all generations are interchangeable (pardon my ignorance but I don’t shoot Glock), that information may be helpful.
Thanks for developing this. I’ll fully behind a belt-and-suspenders approach to safety.
Ugh. My computer took like 45 seconds to load the page, and I missed out. COngrats to the top 5.
so i definitely send $20 and forgot to hit the perk…lol
There is a typo in the 10 gadget description. It says TWO instead of TEN.
Two for me! Yay!
Thanks, Mark! We’ve been staring at this for days and never caught that.
Congrats to the ten people who got the $1 Gadgets. Apparently so many came in simultaneously that the system didn’t shut them down in time.
Over $3,000 in the first ten minutes. You guys rock!

Todd what if we came in under the first 10 but didn’t select the 1$ perk?

Todd, your welcome. Fresh eyes have saved me many times. Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas?
BTW, the “your” was not intentional…
😎
In addition to adding safety to holstering a Glock, could The Gadget make a discharge less likely in a weapon retention scenario?

Doesn’t look like this will work well with Gen 4’s that have the beavertail. Awkward?
It fits all generations & models of Glock pistols except the 42 and 43.
I’ve used a Gadget extensively with a Grip Force Adapter and had no issues in terms of operation, etc.
Do you have long term plans to come out with versions of your Gadget for the G42 & G43?
Congratulations! You are almost at your goal. That’s awesome!
Gerard, we are certainly looking in to the possibility of making gadgets that work with the 42 & 43.
