SLG
SLG is an active law enforcement officer, having started with the NYPD in 1998. After September 11th, he was offered a position in federal law enforcement where he was fortunate enough to support the GWOT. Throughout his career, SLG has served as a patrol cop, investigator, firearms instructor, assaulter, and sniper. Deploying numerous times to Africa and the Middle East as well as 4 tours between Afghanistan and Iraq, his experience includes tactical operations, protection, and instruction. Responsible for the development of a detachment-wide firearm and CQB program while serving as a member of a full-time federal tactical team, he has taught and trained with numerous law enforcement and military special operations groups, as well as a “who’s who” of top private schools. SLG’s original and continuing interest in the firearms field is effective, performance-oriented concealed carry. To that end, he was heavily involved in the development of the original modern AIWB holster, as well as many of the current derivatives. An occasional competition shooter, SLG has managed to consistently place highly in regional and national shoots in a variety of shooting sports, including a 1st place finish at Steel Nationals and 3rd place at the Bianchi Cup two years in a row. JAG
A decorated women’s shooting champion, Julie Golob is an IPSC World Champion with 15 USPSA National titles and more than 150 championship titles in international, national, and regional competitions in 7 different shooting disciplines. A veteran of the elite U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and U.S. Army Female Athlete of the Year, JAG is the first and only woman in history to win national titles in all seven practical handgun divisions. Julie is a dedicated ambassador and industry leader who shares her passion for gun safety, education, shooting sports, hunting, and family as a host, instructor, guest speaker, author, and marketer.
