Deploying numerous times to Africa and the Middle East as well as 4 tours between Afghanistan and Iraq, his experience includes tactical operations, protection, and instruction. Responsible for the development of a detachment-wide firearms and CQB program while serving as a member of a full-time federal tactical team, he has taught and trained with numerous law enforcement and military tactical teams. To that end, he was heavily involved in the development of the original modern AIWB holster, as well as many of the current derivatives.
