They left out the “one cleaning” part where when you were done with the test you wiped half of the gun down with a used kleenex you found in your glove-box under the chipotle sauce you have stockpiled for the SHTF which we know IS coming.
We have one at our shop but if I was Todd I would be very angry. All of his work and it doesn’t even mention his name. Seems very lame thing to do on HK’s part.
William — Not angry in the least. Their guns, their ammo. I had a great year and a great time shooting great pistols. How they advertise it is totally up to them. In fact, name or not, I’m very happy and proud to have that mat out there. And I’m very thankful toward Heckler & Koch for the opportunity.
They are actually two of these at the gunshop I do part time for. I always show your website whenever a gun you tested comes up. I believe though on the mat in small print is the link to your website.
Maybe you ought to trademark the phrase “ToddG Tough” and then license that out for pistols that survive your handling.
Meanwhile you can be glad they didn’t add “almost completely negligent cleaning and lubrication regime the whole time.”
