Yesterday morning, “Dieter” made some comments in the 1911 Cult: Cracks in the Armor thread. He claimed to work for Heckler & Koch and made a number of derogatory remarks. Not surprisingly, there is no such person working at Heckler & Koch, the email address he listed is fake, and his IP address leads back to an accounting firm in Tennessee. So those comments have been deleted.
And whoever tried to pass himself off as an employee of a company I’ve worked with closely over the past two years: you’re a dumbass.
If I learned one thing during my time as Command Sergeant Captain of SEAL Team Ranger Delta Six Recon, it was that people should never lie about their backgrounds in this industry…
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG
HAHA!
Busted, damn trolls.
Lima Oscar Lima
Awww, I missed it!
Did he, by any chance, have a marmot with him?
Yeah, actual PR people for real mfr’s are usually way too buttoned-down to start drunk-typing in the middle of the day.
Still, though, the first comment did actually bring howls of laughter when I read it out loud in the gunsmithery, so Mr. Poser did provide an actual service… 😉

Now that, sir, is a classic.
Yeah, a marmot, you know…an amphibious rodent.
Sorry- had to throw in a “Big Lebowski” reference…
Well, he can always go back to his job as the Sergeant of a three-man Rapid Tactical Force at one of America’s largest indoor retail shopping areas.
ExurbanKevin wins the internets.
I always miss the good stuff 🙁
Haha! As the only person ever to shoot a sub three second fast drill I hate it when people make false claims on the internet. Unfortunately I spent all my dough customizing my Taurus 1911 and can’t afford a video camera. And don’t bother checking my IP address. It’s hidden by a secret cloaking device similar to digital cammo.
Todd, you had me ROLLING, your last sentance was brillant!
He get the “Dumbass of the Day” award in my books.
Hilarious.
“If I learned one thing during my time as Command Sergeant Captain of SEAL Team Ranger Delta Six Recon, it was that people should never lie about their backgrounds in this industry…”
And I learned the same thing as Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate posers. During my time, as CO of the 1st Space Ranger Battalion, we often had to deal with posers on Moon Base 1.
I guess the highly coveted Shuttle Door Gunner tab is just too enticing.

FAKE! We all know the proper nomenclature is CHIEF Command Sergeant Captain! Gotcha!
How can I get a “SEAL Team Ranger Delta Six Recon” T-shirt? I was in the unit for 135 years.
“Command Sergeant Captain of SEAL Team Ranger Delta Six Recon”
Oh you were in that too?
