F.A.S.T. Pins Have Arrived

As mentioned last month, these pins have been in the works for quite some time. The first batch of 100 arrived today and we’re very happy to announce that everyone on the F.A.S.T. Wall of Fame should have their pin by the end of the month.

Within the next few days, all recipients should receive an automatically generated email asking for a proper shipping address. Please do not email pistol-training.com until you receive this message. Unsolicited emails will not go to the right address or the right people, and delivery of your pin may be delayed. We’ll give folks about a week to respond with the requested info before shipping out the first pins. After that, stragglers will receive their pins as information comes in and time allows to get them packaged and mailed.

I’ll also have a handful of pins with me for this weekend’s AFHF in California, and look forward to handing them out in person to anyone who scores Advanced on the F.A.S.T. during class!

Thanks to all of the students, friends, and contributors who have helped make pistol-training.com so successful!

  1. I hope to one day be able to receive one of those…..practice, practice, practice

Kinda off topic Todd but I read on an old thread from another forum that earlier this year you were switching from the CED7000 shot timer to the Pocket Pro 2….I’m just getting into all these drill and am looking at getting buying a shot timer. Just hoping to hear how the Pocket Pro 2 has worked out for you.

  2. CRC- I use the Pocket Pro 2 and the local competition range (Rio Salado) runs them too for 3 Gun, IDPA, Multi gun, and USPSA.
They’re great timers, very rugged and the battery life is amazing. The way you view your splits is very nice and fast. There’s really not anything I’d change about it.

Shots timers really help a lot when running drills (FAST) for me. It shows where you need improvement and a sets a tangible standard to measure progress by.

I’m really bummed I missed Todd’s class a week ago in PHX. I want a pin and hopefully a coin if I’m on my game.

  3. that’s a beautiful pin! i like the idea of a pin better than the coin since the pin can be worn so all the babes can be impressed. besides, vending machines would always reject the coins. i’m waiting for some stickers or something which doesn’t require shooting ability to obtain.

  4. Thanks for the pin. It’s a regular reminder that I need to work on getting a coin.

  5. ooh bumper stickers would be nice. “Pistol-Training.com Failure” maybe?

  6. oooch, no bumper stickers. i hate bumper stickers. no quicker way to make your car look ghetto than bumper stickers.

  7. Wait so the “I’m not playing with myself I’m adjusting my piercing” makes my 87 Volvo look ghetto?

  8. yes. but since it’s an 87 it’s a retro-ghetto, like before walkmans or ipods people would carry entire portable audio systems on their shoulders around the hood thinking this looked good.
