Today is John Moses Browning’s birthday (1/23/1855 – 11/26/1926), his contributions to the firearms industry cannot be overstated. If you don’t know much about him, I can highly recommend Nathan Gorenstein’s book, The Guns of John Moses Browning. I read it last year and it was well done.

There is a Browning museum in Ogden, UT that is a great place to visit. Rare prototypes and all the firearms that he influenced, along with the history of JMB.
That would be a great place to visit!

You know, I’ve been to Ogden and the area many times and was never able to visit the museum. The family is hoping to rectify that sooner than later. Glad you enjoyed it!
