Caleb at Gun Nuts has posted the winners of this past week’s IDPA National Championship held in beautiful Oxford, NC. Top places went to:
- Stock Service Pistol: Robert Vogel (206.62 with 31 points down)
- Enhanced Service Pistol: Matthew Mink (238.93 with 48 points down)
- Custom Defense Pistol: Glenn Shelby (248.48 with 44 points down)
- Enhanced Service Revolver: Jerry Miculek (298.14 with 75 points down)
- Stock Service Revolver: Kirk Crego (338.59 with 52 points down)
By all accounts it was one of the best IDPA matches in history. Congratulations to the winners as well as to match director Frank Glover & his crew.

Vogel is amazing. He continues to leave the competition in his dust.
Glenn Shelby is a beast. He handles that 1911 like no one I’ve ever seen. I shot on his squad at the 2011 Carolina Cup and in addition to his shooting skills he’s a nice guy; quiet, humble and unassuming. Real pleasure to be around and a great representative of the sport.
