Yesterday, Julie Golob made history when she won the top title at the 2011 Women’s Revolver National Championship. With that win, Julie becomes the only person ever to win USPSA national titles in every single USPSA division: Open, Limited, Limited-10, Single Stack, Production, and now Revolver.
As captain of of the Smith & Wesson shooting team as well as a member of the Benelli shooting team, Julie has spent this year jumping from gun to gun and sport to sport at a frenetic — some might even say schizophrenic! — pace. Every time you see Julie, she’s shooting a different gun and practicing for a different sport. Who else in the competition stratosphere shoots the infamously difficult Rocky Mountain 3-Gun with a M&P9 Pro then less than a month later is making history with a revolver at USPSA Nationals?
Huge congratulations on the awesome win, Julie!
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG
Let’s face it the girls just an awesome talented shooter.
well done Julie!
Congratulations Julie!
That is impressive.
IMO, she is the ambassador of Practical Shooting.
Congrats to here. Speaks to the “One gun” thread on the forum. No, not many can win nationally of course. But if you can shoot, you can shoot. Really cool accomplishment.
nicely done!
so when is she going to shoot for a FAST coin?
Thanks for sharing Todd and for all the congrats everyone! It’s been a great week. 🙂
@Rob – Earning a FAST coin is definitely on my shooting to do list!!!!
A little late, but huge congrats! OTOH, if you keep this up, you’ll have ToddG calling you a cyborg soon. (http://box2263.temp.domains/~juliegol/pistoltraining/archives/4602)
And thanks for being so cool – JulieG TV’s had a positive impact on how my wife looks at shooting.
Cheers!
