Speaking of guys who aren’t one trick ponies…
Good friend Ernest Langdon is teaching his highly regarded Advanced Fundamentals of the AR-15 in Culpeper, Virginia later this month. The class is focused on covering and drilling the technical shooting and gun handling skills that are sometimes skipped in the cool “tactics” classes.
Ernest is without doubt one of the most talented instructors out there both in terms of shooting performance and teaching ability. While many folks in this community associate him with handgun training and competition, he also spent time as a Marine CQB Instructor and Scout Sniper Instructor.
Space in the Langdon class is limited. Check it out.
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG
THis was one oft he coolest things I’ve ever seen anyone do with a pistol!!
Just a drill, but so much fun!!
1+
but its harder than it looks like.
Damn, wish my son still lived in Fairfax, I’d seriously try and make this class. I met Ernie several years ago at an IALEFI seminar in NJ.
We get folks from PA in the Culpeper classes all the time…
I’m not against travelling, but drive time, price of gas, hotel, etc sure puts a damper on my training. Besides, I’ve got my dept footing the bill for my TASER recert and will probably go to the IALEFI seminar in NJ later this year.
I really hope to make this a great class for everyone that attends. As Todd says, I want to cover a lot of information that I feel gets left out in many tactical carbine classes. Plus, we will shoot on steel almost exclusively for any shooting 50 Yards and beyond. This is key to learning to shoot a rifle well at speed as the feed back from hitting the steel speeds up the learning process. I am excited about this one.
Cheers,
Ernest
