LG-850 Arrived

Thanks again, Caleb!  As I mentioned last week, I’ve been using Lasergrips religiously for most of my serious shooting career. It’s only over the past few years with the HK P30, HK45, and Glock tests that I’ve been unable to get a set. But they were my constant companion while I was at Beretta and SIG, and then for the almost two years I spent shooting M&Ps. Here are the ones I still have boxes for:

Expect a full report this Friday as part of the regular Glock endurance test update.

  1. Come on Todd, let’s have initial impressions ahead of the full report? How close to the CT model for the M&P?

  2. I’m looking forward to the write up on these CTCs. Looks like your running your mag release on the right side. Does the “FBI” release make it easier to be operated by the index finger than that standard release? Thanks.

  3. GJM — You know I’m never shy with my opinion. But until I get a chance to see how they work in live fire, I don’t want to say too much. Friday is just a few days away. If you can wait for Santa, you can wait for this…

MD7305 — Yes, the FBI release works much better for me over there, especially with the CTCs because they definitely increase trigger reach.

  4. Let’s see, a report on the laser and a Gadget — this will be a memorable holiday season!

  5. Excellent idea! Laser torture test along with the pistol torture test. Brilliant!

TODD – I would love to hear/read a small discourse on your reasoning for using lasers, as well as HOW you practice with the laser.

  6. How about a ambi mag release for the Glock! Billion dollar idea! You heard it here, first, folks.

  7. Wasn’t that you who sat in my living room about 15 years ago, who said lasers were just a gimmick?

  8. any issues for left-handed shooters with laser grips? Do your thumbs occlude the laser? Would be interested to hear about that.
