Our good friend Dave “The Android” Sevigny, Captain of Team Glock, stepped outside of his comfort zone this past weekend at the 2011 USPSA Single Stack Nationals and, pardon the cliche, won the whole shooting match. Not a bad way to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 1911, you’ve got to admit…
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG
Outside of Rob Leatham, he was 5% ahead of the rest. Is Android or Terminator more appropriate..
Not that hard to believe, he’s been shooting a Caspian 1911 prior to this for some time now.
Talk him into applying for Season 4 of Top Shot. As the saying goes, I’d pay to see that.
quite simply, Dave rocks regardless of what he’s shooting. I wonder how he is with a rifle?
I withdraw my petition to have the event renamed the “Let’s see who can come in second to Rob Leatham” Cup.
Todd – Now that the quintessential Glock shooter is shooting a 1911 …. does that you will be doing a torture test on 1911’s, now? 🙂
I’m with GhettoSmack!
Yeah, and the guessing contest will be: How many times will a part need to be retuned or replaced during the test? I’ll start with my guess of 23,651.
It’s nice to see people reveal their ignorance. 🙂
Would be interesting to see his F.A.S.T score with a 1911.
Glock shooters can adjust to the 1911 grip angle but 1911 shooters can’t adjust to the Glock angle?
Robbie and Dave are both shooting gods.
Actually…i would love to see Todd run a test on say a S&W E-Series.

So would his orthopedic surgeon. :p
Good to hear, really – now I can tell my buddy who swears ‘Glocks are quicker – Sevigny shoots a Glock’ the truth – if Sevigny was shooting a sling shot, he’d still beat everyone else shooting guns.
