As promised, we had a special guest star fire round #40,000 through the test gun. Here is the picture:
Thanks very much to our good friend Julie Golob (nee Goloski) of Smith & Wesson. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who Julie is, she is the 12-time national Ladies Champion in USPSA and IDPA competitions as well as a former US Army Female Athlete of the Year and US Army Marksmanship Unit Athlete of the Year. Julie also has her own site, JulieG where you can keep up with her competition wins, appearances in magazines and on television, and other news about her and her fellow Smith & Wesson Champions.
Another part of reaching 40,000 was to repeat the accuracy test we’ve been using every ten thousand rounds. These results are based on five 5-shot groups fired by hand using a Delta rest. Range is 25 yards. As you can see, accuracy is still within half an inch of the gun’s performance when new:
- Federal 124gr +p HST: 1.92″
- week 1: 1.46″
- week 6: 2.05″
- week 10: 1.69″
- week 17: 1.99″
See you next week …
Train hard & stay safe! ToddG

it’s purely for my own scrapbook thing. no shirts or posters will be made. :O)
