I am very excited to report that Jeff Gonzalez and I are collaborating on a class this summer in AZ. I’m sure everyone who reads this blog is familiar with Jeff, but in case you came in late, he runs Trident Concepts, a long standing training company known for its high standards. He and I don’t get to see each other very often, but when we do, it is like we have been hanging out non-stop. The class details can be found here.
When Jeff told me about his portion of the class, I said “That sounds great, but who will teach my portion so I can take yours?” I was not really kidding, as I would like to take that class! I will get some of it at Tac Con in a couple weeks, but you can get all of it, plus a day of me focusing on cold performance.
You may wonder about training in AZ in the summer. I have spent a lot of time in the AZ sun training, and with proper clothing, hydration and outlook, it is not a big deal at all. My basic sniper class was several weeks of crawling around in the AZ desert in a Ghillie suit, so I’m sure you can handle what we will do on the range, which has shade available on it. I look forward to getting to work with Jeff and to seeing some of you on the range!
