New for 2012: Aim Fast, Hit Small

Next year, pistol-training.com will be offering a new class called Aim Fast Hit Small (a.k.a., AFHF-2).

“Small” has been developed based on feedback from a number of shooters who have each attended multiple AFHF classes in the past. The goal of AFHS is to provide students with a challenging program that will deliver maximum one-on-one attention to achieve concrete refinement of marksmanship, speed, and gun handling.

Aim Fast Hit Small will involve less classroom/lecture time and more individual coaching than AFHF. “Small” is specifically intended for shooters who have graduated from “Fast” with at least an Intermediate rating, or who have successfully completed other advanced handgun training from approved instructors. Attendance will be strictly controlled to ensure that classes can move at an appropriate pace. AFHS will be taught exclusively at locations that have hosted multiple AFHF classes in the past.

This new program will focus primarily on quickly hitting low-probabiliy targets (targets which are small, distant, obscured, and/or high risk), shooting under stress, and shooting on the move. More details will be available early next year.

There are three Aim Small Hit Small classes scheduled for 2012. Others may be added if there is demand from qualified students.

  1. This sounds great. I would be in for another trip to Indy next year if John plans to host it.

  2. We might be able to make that happen Nick. Several of the guys asked where you were this weekend at the class in Indy.
