Not sure how to comment on our laws other than to say, for the most part, they suck. Hopefully we’ll see some changes in the next few years, for the better that is, but I doubt it.
And no slacking on Todd’s part man, he looked pretty burned out after 4 days of standing on the range, mostly in the sun. It might sound easy, but it isn’t. His teaching style, techniques, tips, hints, tricks etc, were simply phenomenal. It was an honor to host him for the 4 days, and if I could I’d just bring him up monthly. I’ll be emailing him the picture of him with something Americans can’t own but we can, so that he can post it here.
My CZ crapped the bed pretty good today, and I finally replaced the extractor spring, which then cured all ills. The HK45 though? man that thing rocked. It’s now on my list, the LEM trigger is frackin amazing.
Canada has Internet and Canada has guns, but it is a federal crime to discuss guns on the Internet! (I kid, I kid!)
Had a great time and four of the 12 AFHF students earned Advanced scores, impressive! I’ll put up a post about them soon.
Three or four students gave the HK45 a try and all of them raved about the LEM trigger. It’s simply the best combination of safety and shootability out there right now, folks.
What, no internet in Canada, eh?
They have guns in Canada? 🙂
I couldn’t get the wife to plan our Canadian vacation around your classes:(. I’ll be up there in August instead.
Slacker 🙂
Booo
Guess you was not able to register the guns in time on the very successful gun registry.
No registration for Todd, just a whole ‘nother soap opera instead.
Classes are excellent. I thought the first time I had him up here the course was awesome, this time, even better.
I’ll be very interested in what Canadian shooters have to say about current laws and future trends.
Slacker,,,,

Oh, he is a great guy and did he tell you how much he hates the Sun? I’m sure you heard a little whine.:-)

The LEM trigger is outstanding. It would be nice to try out a P30 with one.
How would this particular HK45 LEM setup compare against the new M&P PRO trigger setup?
