We are aware that a product strikingly similar to the Gadget was recently debuted online. Imitation, as they say, is the sincerest form of flattery. That company has been aware of the Gadget for at least two years and knows the Gadget was awarded a patent earlier in 2013.
Suffice to say that this is now a matter for our lawyers to settle. Given the nature of our patent, we are confident that this issue will be resolved to our complete satisfaction quickly. In the meantime, neither Tom Jones nor I will be making any public comments about any impending legal action.

I’m not a Glock guy by any stretch, but if this item will make me use mine more with the added layer of safety, I’m all for it. I have no problem paying a premium for high quality stuff. Testing and evaluation for this long = quality, especially knowing who is behind it and his take on quality. I’m sure it will be well worth the wait.

I’m thinking the same thing that Shutup is, it’s been quite awhile.
I suspect there was no chance Todd was going to license it out for somebody to produce until that patent was in place. If he had turned over design information without a patent he would have been giving away a large chunk of the proceeds.
