Oregonians on the Wall

Four students from this week’s class in Clackamas, OR earned places on the F.A.S.T. Wall of Fame.

Matt Kenna (5.53) and Nick Bezates (6.99) both earned F.A.S.T. pins for their Advanced scores.

Matt Swanson (4.92) earned Expert, the first person ever to do so in a pistol-training.com class while using full duty gear (retention holster and closed flap mag pouches).

Finally, as reported yesterday, class host Gabe White earned his Expert rating during a successful quest to become F.A.S.T. Coin holder #09.

Great job, all!

  1. I wanna see the video of someone doing that in a retention holster with flap mag pouches. Please say there is a video.

  2. Strong group of shooters. Must’ve been a good class to be in. Congratulations to all.

  3. That is totally awesome Matt S.! First ever to hit a sub-5 with duty gear. Right on!!!!

  4. Nice shooting.

I should have checked the schedule, and adjusted my vacation to Oregon to include the AFHF course.

  5. The class was never open enrollment. Two students asked about bringing Todd out, I said ‘raise your hand if you want in’ and the class was pretty much full at that point. We basically scheduled a private class.

Sorry dude, I knew there would be people who would see it after the fact and be bummed that they didn’t know it was happening.

  6. No worries. AFHF is still offered plenty often at my home away from home. Would have been nice to shoot it at home, home though. And during one of the 2 weekends a year the valley gets decent weather.

  7. Thanks, Matt. Awesome shooting! I’m attending AFHF this month but I’m torn between wearing my AIWB or duty gear.

  8. Congratulations Gabe, Matt S, Matt K, and Nick!

Matt S did you ever wear that rig for USPSA?

I hope Todd returns to the PSTC soon for more classes.
