Billy — Actually, it’s a few apps. I’m an iPhone user so I may not have the names exactly right, but I think the apps are called: Dedication and Persistence. Run them for 10-15 years and you’ll shoot just like Dave.
Oh wait, I think your phone also has to come with another app, Talent, pre-installed. If you don’t have that, you probably need to start from scratch.

Nobody is born with a firearm – sure certain character traits can help/hinder progress, but I truly think “Dedication and Persistence” is the only app you need!
Yup congrats to Dave. Proving yet again how good he really is.
Funny thing watching the video above though, it looked slow compared to how he shoots normally. I can hardly wait for match video.
An Android software upgrade? So what you’re saying is that with a simple app, I too can shoot like Dave?
Ain’t technology grand!

All your USPSA will belong to him…
Man, his target transitions and movements are just sick. No wonder he’s a beast, despite what’s in his hand.
The talent app is frustrating as hell. I’ve never been good at anything; I’ve had to work very hard to be kind of ok at most things I do.
0:48 to 0:51, reload, 6 shots, and another reload, all on the move. Intense!!

He hasn’t been shooting that long (relatively). Are those Tripp Cobramags?
His recoil control never ceases to amaze me. It’s disgustingly good.
That guy is just a machine.
Recoil control. I can play bullseye all day long. But fast repeat hits just kill me. More fingertip pushups for me.
Besides his unbelievable shooting skills, he is young, fast and flexible, something this old guy lost a while back!
I am finding it hard to believe that Todd wrote “upgrade” and “1911” in the same sentence. 😉
No doubt that Dave is an awesome shooter with whatever you put in his hands.
Is this a preview of things to come? Sevigny doesn’t have a Glock jersey on. :-O
Oh crap! That means I’m no longer safe in CDP!
Awesome!!!
Is Dave the precursor to HAL?
Dave Sevigny just won the 2011 Single Stack Nationals!!

Probably because he was shooting a .45. He is so impressive to watch!
What model 1911 is that in the beginning of the vid?
Ok, scratch that last. Reading is fundamental.
