  1. Thanks for the link to the match stages. Interesting stuff. Not much of a gamer, but with the purchase of a new 627 this week, perhaps I can find time to “game” some stuff. Been a few too many years without a revolver in my hand. Gives me a good excuse to get back up to speed.

  2. congratulations to all of them and to S&W! i’m still new to this stuff but in the slideshow in the upper right corner on her blog she’s shooting a race gun or something and it looks like she has medical tape all around the thing. what is that?

  3. David — From Julie:

It is medical tape! That’s my open Bianchi gun. I use moleskin (first) and medical tape (wrapped over the moleskin) to cushion around the shroud and wings. For me, it helps me lock the gun into the barricade without it jumping around. Other people use skateboard tape but I like my home-made cushioning best.

  4. ahh ha! i know medical tape hen i see it. i’m truly gifted. i have a lot to learn about the use of tape and guns though and now moleskin has entered the equation. thank you for the answer! i couldn’t figure out what it was.
