With 30 years experience in the military and law enforcement as well as a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Dr. Armstrong has a penchant for cutting through the flavor of the month silliness that pervades most firearms discussions and dishing out simple facts based on his first hand experience and academic study of real world events.

Thanks to Todd for advertising us a bit. We’ve got a few items up and running now, and everyone is welcome to submit or suggest items that they think would fit the concept of the blog. The lasers article by Todd is a good example of what I am hoping the site will become, a resource that people can go to and get an honest appraisal of tactics, tools, etc. instead of the opinion and myth that so often passes for fact in the gun world and on the internet.
