  1. My world has already been changed by this peek at the gadget. My paradigm has shifted.

  2. Caleb — While it is fundamentally the same as what we alluded to at SHOT, it is substantially more awesome now.

  3. It is a small, gun-mounted computer, video camera, blogging-capapble, wi-fi equipped, device. It will record both actual shots, dry-fire shots, and video of the shooter at the same time, allowing shooters to track every shot and make notes, as well as uploading both to their computers and blogs for both further study and comments by the peanut gallery. It can also be programmed to capture ejected brass in the air and dump it in a bag. An accessory pack will let it re-load that same brass in the same shooting session, needing only the addition of primers, powder, and bullets. The deluxe model will also load them into magazines on the shooter’s belt.

Now, what is the prize for guessing correctly?

  4. It’s mystery is exceeded only by it’s power, and it’s power is exceeded only by it’s mystery.

  5. A riddle wrapped in a mystery and smothered in secret sauce?

It’s the part that will make Gen4 Glocks into Gen3 Glocks.

  6. That might be the worst camera phone pic I’ve seen outside the Classifieds section … EVER.

  7. The one in the photo is plastic (rapid prototype). The latest version is aluminum.

It is much smaller than a breadbox.

  8. Todd, didn’t you mean to say “aluminium”? After all, gadgetry of this level can only be Bond-esque.

  9. This thing is cooler than the supercollider but with a slightly diminished capacity to end existence as we know it.

  10. It looks exactly like that one thing. Only better. With less of that nonsense.

  11. This is an espresso machine. No, no wait. It’s a snow cone maker. Is it a water heater?

  12. It’s a hand-held automatic labeling/packaging/mailing device for all of Todd’s parts to HK, S&W and Glock…

    Best, Jon

  13. You gave a T-H-U-M-Bs down to the Gen 4 and you are going to ::leverage:: your skills with a working handgun?

    Don’t worry haters, I’m carrying a Gen 3 G19 as I type :):):)
