  1. Jeff — Looks like I’ll probably be doing a class in Los Angeles in July. Details should be coming out next month.

  2. I was hopeing for a Connecticut class myself. I make 1911’s for a living, and am turning into a reasonably competent bullseye shooter, but need practical/tactical training quite seriously. You come highly represented by Tammy Kiel, a very bright lady who’s opinions I respect.

If you’re headed up this way, please let me know. Hell, I’ll even throw in a good steak dinner and a tour of the Continental Machine/Stag Arms facility.

    Thanks, Ed Foster.

  3. Any plans to make the MetroPlex area of Texas?

As with Ed, I’m directed your way by Tamara K, and her opinions are valuable to me.

  4. Todd,

Kindly drop me a line at the email attached to this comment?

Reason is, I’ve a step-neice who has recently graduated the academy for the Northern Ireland Police Service. (Formerly known as the Royal Ulster Constablury.) She’s the oldest graduate on record (38) and graduated at the top of her class.

Sadly, their firearms training leaves much to be desired. Total round count through her training did not reach 300 rounds.

We’re interested in finding a good, solid, follow-on course for her to improve her skills and street-survival abilities.

Let me know if you think you can help?

    Sincerely,

    Jim

  5. Ed — I’ve been approached by someone in CT who is trying to secure an appropriate range facility. Hopefully, we’ll know something soon.

Matt G and Matt (not-G, presumably) — No plans for those locations at this time, but it’s still early in the year.

Anyone interested in hosting a class can reach pistol-training.com via this page to get information.

    Jim — Email inbound.

  6. If you need it, I can talk to Scott Hoffman at Hoffman Gun Center in Newington, a few minutes south of Hartford. A very slick, professional indoor range, 25 ft., 50 ft., and 25 yards, 10 or 12 lanes, and a good sized classroom.

  7. Blue Trails in Wallingford is a better facility, and the Bridgeport Shooting Range, and Forrest & Field in Norwalk is available too.

  8. Hoffman’s, Blue Trail, Bridgeport Shooting Range, and forest & field are all cool with me. Please come to Connecticut!

  9. Please come to Alb. and post details soon!!!!!!

    Are you taking enrollment now?

  10. Charles — Todd will definitely be in NM the last weekend of August, and most likely in ABQ. I’m his host for classes in NM. The last two years we’ve had them in Los Alamos, but this year we are going to try to do ABQ.

The details will be posted just as soon as I can lock down the range. My POC for the range has been OCONUS with the military for the last 6 months, but has recently returned. With any luck we’ll have the range sorted out and enrollment opened up in the next couple of weeks.

If for some reason ABQ falls through, the class will again be in Los Alamos.

  11. Thanks Tom,

I am comming from Farmington but if Alb. or Los Alamos I will be there.
