PCC comes to S&W as the FPC

Having had the opportunity to spend some time with the new FPC, I have to say that I like it. It shoots well, folds nicely, and deploys quickly. Especially compared to its closest competitor, it is pretty nice. Optics work well with it, lol. I won’t discuss it much, as there are more in-depth sources out there, but there are a few things I don’t prefer, like the charging handle setup and slide-lock-not-release. Also, the magazine storage section seems to carry the magazines upside down. I do need to swap the mag release to the other side so my trigger finger can hit it, as thumb access with the stock is about impossible.

In today’s brace-constrained world, a gun like the FPC makes a lot of sense for a bunch of people and I expect S&W will have no problem selling them. If you use an M&P normally, then it’s a no-brainer. If you want a PCC for travel or something but don’t use an M&P, it’s still a no-brainer as the gun can carry 69 rds on it very easily if you use 3 of the 23-round mags.

Pistol-Training is also happy to announce (softly) that a YouTube channel is now going to be a small part of our push for world domination. It will mostly be shorts for now, but once I get the hang of it (and figure out how to add a couple of hours to the day), I plan to do some longer format stuff focused on the things we do here. In the meantime, take a look at the FPC in action.

    1. Definitely not and no pretense that my channel will take off, lol. I mostly did it because you kept asking for weird video of me in bizarre outfits. Actually, I plan to upload video relevant to this site, so that people can see what I’m talking about from time to time. So get your minions ready to subscribe!

  1. I’ll for sure tell all my friends about it! Unfortunately for you, I only have 3 friends, and you’re one of them!!
